How to remove dark circles under the eyes with home remedies

Although its effects to eliminate dark spots under the eyes are not as fast as those of other products, these natural remedies will win you over for their simplicity and naturalness.

One of the aesthetic problems that most affects men and women around the world are those black circles that form around the eyes.

Milk

Its application on dark circles helps to calm inflammation and reduce the black coloration that gives the face an aged appearance.

Added to this, it provides essential proteins, enzymes and antioxidants that help accelerate cell recovery.

  • ¼ cup of milk (62 ml)
  • 4 ice cubes

What should you do?

  • Pour the ice cubes into the milk, wait for it to cool down and apply it to the dark circles with two pieces of cotton.
  • Keep the compresses until they are warm and repeat their use twice a day.

pineapple juice with turmeric

Pineapple bromelain acts as a natural anti-inflammatory that helps minimize the size of dark circles and puffiness, according to this study conducted by Sri Ramachandra University (India).

For its part, turmeric contains an active ingredient called curcumin that enhances its anti-inflammatory and protective effect. This is confirmed by this study from Central Michigan University.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric (5 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice (20 ml)

What should you do?

  • Prepare a thick paste with the turmeric and pineapple juice.
  • Then, rub the mask all over the eye area and leave it on for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse and repeat your application every night.

Choose any of these remedies to reduce dark circles and see that you do not have to spend fortunes on conventional cosmetics.

Of course, keep in mind that no remedy is miraculous and that its effects are not obtained immediately. Multiple applications are required to reduce darkening.
